Trump praised Schweinsteiger's wife as the most beautiful woman in the world.

The man who was elected President of the United States in 2013 lavished praise on the beauty of Ana Ivanovic, the tennis player who is now the wife of midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The conversation took place between Donald Trump and Ivica Dacic, who was then the Prime Minister of Serbia and now serves as the Foreign Minister. “For 15 minutes, Trump only talked about Ivanovic. He praised Ivanovic as the most beautiful female tennis player in the world and the most beautiful woman he had ever known,” Dacic shared on November 9th.

A year after his conversation with Dacic, Trump had the opportunity to meet Ivanovic. The two then took a photo together, which Ivanovic posted on Facebook with the caption: "Meet the boss."

Trump, 70, was recently elected the 45th President of the United States after winning overwhelmingly against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. On January 20th, the billionaire will succeed Barack Obama.

Ivanovic rose to prominence in the late 2000s when she reached the number one ranking in the WTA women's tennis world. The 29-year-old is currently ranked 61st.

Besides her talent on the court, Ivanovic is also known for her beauty, which has earned her the nickname "Miss Tennis." This past summer, the tennis player married footballer Schweinsteiger in a romantic wedding in Venice, Italy.
