56 cars collided in China, 17 people died
A 56-car pileup occurred on the Beijing-Kunming Expressway in Shanxi Province, China, killing 17 people on the morning of November 21.
The accident occurred at 9am on November 21 (8am Hanoi time). The initial cause of the incident was determined to be slippery roads and thick fog.
The Shanxi Provincial Traffic Control Center reported that the accident caused traffic on the highway to be completely paralyzed. Authorities are investigating the incident.

Earlier, Xinhua News Agency said that snow and rain had injured 37 people while participating in traffic.
