Regulations on payment and support for HIV antiviral drugs

Payment for HIV antiviral drugs is made according to regulations on payment and settlement of medical examination and treatment costs under health insurance between medical examination facilities.

News from the Government Office on November 15 said that the Prime Minister has just issued Decision 2188/QD-TTg regulating the payment for HIV antiviral drugs purchased centrally at the national level from the health insurance medical examination and treatment fund and support for people using HIV antiviral drugs.

Regarding payment for HIV antiviral drugs from the health insurance medical examination and treatment fund, the Decision clearly states: Based on the framework agreement between the Ministry of Health and the selected drug supplier, the health insurance organization signs a contract directly with the drug supplier.

Payment for HIV antiviral drugs is made according to current regulations on payment and settlement of medical examination and treatment costs under health insurance between medical examination and treatment facilities and health insurance organizations.
