Arrest of drug trafficker

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 29, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Vinh - Political Commissar of Dien Thanh Border Guard Station said that the unit had just handed over a drug trafficking subject to Dien Chau District Police for further investigation and handling.

Accordingly, implementing the plan to fight against drugs at 6:00 p.m. on November 27, at Yen Ly bridge area (in hamlet 1, Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district), Dien Thanh Border Guard Station coordinated with the PCMT&TP Department to catch red-handed Dau Van Luan (born in 1977, residing in hamlet 1, Dien Hai commune, Dien Chau) while transporting illegal drugs.

Evidence collected at the scene was 0.6 grams of heroin, 1 motorbike and 1 mobile phone.

The station initiated an investigation, completed the initial file and handed it over to the district police for further investigation.
