(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 2:05 PM on November 17th, a railway accident occurred at Km309+200 in Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district. The victim miraculously escaped death by a hair's breadth.

The former teacher was lucky to escape death.

The victim has been identified as Ms. Hoang Thi Suu, a former teacher residing in Hamlet 4, Nghi Trung Commune, Nghi Loc District. The victim stated that at the time of the incident, she was on her way to attend the Vietnamese Teachers' Day celebration at the Nghi Trung Commune People's Committee. While crossing the railway tracks, despite the warning lights, she failed to observe the signals and was struck from behind by train number N926, traveling from South to North.

The powerful impact threw her off the railway tracks, the electric bicycle was severely damaged, but luckily she only suffered minor scratches on her legs.

Immediately after the accident occurred, the train stopped to provide first aid to the injured and to document the accident scene.
