McLaren launches special edition 570S

McLaren has just announced a set of 5 special versions of the McLaren 570S called "Design Edition".

The Design Edition is a collection of the best options selected by McLaren designers. Each Design Edition car is completely different. First, the McLaren 570S Design Edition 1 has Vermillion Red paint, red brake calipers and diamond-cut 5-spoke wheels.

At the rear of the car, the triangular exhaust pipes along with the extended rear bumper make the car look more aggressive than the standard 570S.

Inside leather upholstery, contrasting carbon fiber.

Inside, the main color scheme is still red/black with seats made from black Carbon Alcantara leather and red Apex Nappa leather. The steering wheel is also sewn with Alcantara leather on the top and Nappa leather on the bottom. The dashboard of the Design Edition 1 is sewn with black Nappa leather on the top and red Nappa leather on the bottom.

To own these individual options, customers must pay an additional $ 10,000 compared to the standard 570S. The remaining 4 versions include Onyx Black, Storm Gray, Ventura Orange and Silica White.

The rear of the car is more aggressive thanks to the large diffuser.

The McLaren 570S Design Edition still has a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Thanks to that, the 570S Design Edition can reach a capacity of 570 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 600 Nm at 5,000 to 6,500 rpm. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 9.5 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 328 km/h.

The McLaren 570S Design Edition is priced at around $188,000, $10,000 more expensive than the standard 570S. Customers can order the car now and receive it in early 2017./.
