Hoi Son (Anh Son): Receiving certificate of recognition of commune meeting new rural standards

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 18, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoi Son commune solemnly held a ceremony to announce the commune meeting new rural standards in 2016.

Attending the ceremony were comrades Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of provincial departments and branches.

On the district side, there were comrades Dang Thanh Tung - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Nguyen Huu Sang - Chairman of the District People's Committee.

After more than 5 years of building a new rural area, the Party Committee, the government and all the people have united, been creative, mobilized internal resources and chosen a breakthrough in development. Up to now, the commune has completed 19/19 criteria and was recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as meeting the new rural standards in 2016.

In economic development, the commune issued a specialized Resolution, actively transformed the structure of crops and livestock, renovated mixed gardens, and invested in developing clean vegetable growing models in greenhouses.

After nearly 3 years, the commune has formed over 20 farms and family farms with income of hundreds of millions of VND/year/model.

Along with agricultural production, the commune promotes the development of industries, services, trade and labor export.

Thanks to that, the average income per capita in 2016 reached over 36 million VND/person, the poverty rate decreased from 11% to 3.6%, the rate of well-off and rich households increased day by day.

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the certificate of recognition of meeting new rural standards to Hoi Son commune.

After more than 5 years of building new rural areas, the whole commune mobilized nearly 104 billion VND to build new rural infrastructure. Of which, people contributed over 50 billion VND, accounting for 48% of the total capital.

Thanks to that, 32 km of roads, canals, dams, schools, transformer stations, commune health stations, and offices have been planned to meet standards, and 10/10 cultural systems have been upgraded and invested in synchronously.

The rate of cultural families annually reaches nearly 90%, 9/10 villages have achieved the title of Cultural Village, currently 10/10 villages have a scholarship fund.

Awarding the emulation flag of the Provincial People's Committee to the Party Committee and commune government.

For many consecutive years, the Commune Party Committee has been recognized as a strong Party Committee, the government has been recognized as strong every year, and the Fatherland Front and its member organizations have been continuously recognized as excellent.

On this occasion, 4 groups and 4 individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, 7 individuals and 4 groups received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoi Son commune. He requested that in the coming time, the commune needs to improve the quality of criteria, focus on planning for sustainable development, perfect the apparatus, focus on promoting strengths, linking in production to increase income for the people, building an increasingly rich and civilized commune.
