Nghe An will honor 10 skilled artisans and workers

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Cooperative Union has received 23 sets of documents requesting the first award of the title of Artisan and Skilled Worker from 6/21 urban districts in the province. After consideration, it is proposed to award the title to 10 people including 1 artisan and 9 skilled workers.

The consideration of proposals for awarding titles is implemented in Decision 73/2015/QD-UBND dated December 21, 2015 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on promulgating the Regulation on considering and awarding the titles of Artisan and Skilled Worker in the field of small-scale industry - craft villages of Nghe An province.

Districts with artisans and skilled workers submitting applications include: Yen Thanh (1 artisan), Quy Hop (3 artisans, 2 skilled workers), Quy Chau (2 artisans, 4 skilled workers), Quynh Luu (1 artisan, 1 skilled worker), Ky Son (1 skilled worker), Que Phong (1 artisan, 7 skilled workers).

After reviewing, based on the standards and records, the Cooperative Union and the Provincial Organizing Committee selected and proposed the Provincial People's Committee to consider awarding the title of 1 Artisan and 9 skilled workers. Accordingly, the title of Artisan was proposed to be awarded to Mr. Nguyen Trong Ha with the profession of shaping and sculpting statues, President of the Yen Thanh District Ornamental Plants Association.

Bamboo and rattan products in the province are exported to a number of countries.

The 9 profiles for the title of skilled craftsman include: Sam Thi Hanh, Sam Thi Bich, Sam Thi Khuyen, Lo Thi Nga - brocade weaving; Lo Hai Truyen - bamboo and rattan weaving; Nguyen Cong Bang - fine art sculpture; Hoang Nhat Minh, Tran Thi Loan - incense production and Le Van Thoa, mechanical engineering.

Currently, the Provincial Cooperative Union is completing the documents to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to recognize the above individuals as Artisans and Skilled Workers.

The bonus with the certificate of recognition for artisans is worth 10 months of basic salary along with other benefits. The bonus for skilled workers is 3 months of basic salary along with some incentives in coordinating vocational training, supporting construction, registering intellectual property for typical products...
