Mr. Le Minh Tam, owner of a laundry shop on Nguyen Gia Thieu Street, Hung Dung Ward, shared: "I used to live in Hanoi, where laundry services are increasingly developing, so when I returned to my hometown, I decided to open this service. The cold season is when people have a high demand for laundry, sometimes up to 30-40 customers/day, my family had to hire more people to help meet the demand."

He said that the capital spent to buy all the machinery including dryer, washing machine, boiler, bagging machine... was up to more than 1 billion VND. The prices of the items are also diverse, blankets and pillows weighing more than 4kg cost 50,000 VND, warm clothes, vests, and coats range from 40,000 - 70,000 VND/piece. After deducting expenses such as electricity, detergent, labor... his family also has an income of 30 - 40 million VND/month.

“Because of the change of seasons, the demand for laundry has increased, customers come to wash in large numbers, the washing and drying system runs at full capacity and cannot return the clothes to customers in time,” said the owner of a laundry shop on Hong Bang Street, Vinh City. He added that washing and drying takes much longer than normal washing. After finishing dry cleaning, one person has to fold the clothes and put them in nylon bags, and the clothes that have lost their creases have to be ironed again for customers. Because of the careful work and reasonable prices, every shop is crowded with customers.

Not only blooming in Vinh city, this service has also appeared in districts such as Do Luong, Dien Chau, Tan Ky... Ms. Thuy, owner of Tan Ky laundry shop, said: "Although this service is quite new to people in my district, more and more people see the convenience of laundry, so the number of customers this year has doubled compared to last year."
