Three orphaned children need community support.
(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, a somber and mournful atmosphere has enveloped the dilapidated thatched house of Vi Van Sinh (14 years old), Vi Thi Linh (10 years old), and Kha Hai Dang (13 months old) in Tan Huong village, Yen Khe commune (Con Cuong district), as the children have just permanently lost the warmth of their mother.
The children's grandmother, Lang Thi Binh, sat silently, unable to hide her tears from the tragic events that had befallen her family. She recounted: Her daughter, Kha Thi Kim, got married and had two children, Sinh and Linh, but her husband left without a trace nearly eight years ago.

In 2015, Ms. Kim gave birth to another son, Kha Hai Dang, with a different man. Dang is now only 13 months old and never knew his father. Meanwhile, Ms. Kim suffered from chronic illness, including glomerulonephritis. Due to poverty and lack of resources for treatment, her health gradually deteriorated, and she passed away in early November of this year.
Currently, the three children are being cared for by their maternal grandmother, but Mrs. Binh is over 60 years old this year. The family's livelihood mainly depends on three plots of rice fields, so they are always in a state of poverty. She worries deeply about her grandchildren, who are at an age where they should be eating and studying, and with their current circumstances, they might have to drop out of school.

Currently, Linh is in 4th grade and Sinh is in 7th grade. Despite their difficult family circumstances, they are very diligent and excellent students. Vi Van Sinh shared: "Before, my mother took care of my schooling. I really wanted to go to school, but now that she's gone, my two younger siblings and I live with our grandmother. She's old and frail, so if I go to school, there's no one to help her. I feel so sorry for my grandmother and siblings. I think I'll have to drop out of school soon to stay home and help her."
What's even more heartbreaking is that little Dang is only 13 months old, and many nights he cries hysterically because he doesn't have enough breast milk. The old, dilapidated thatched house is now no longer able to withstand storms...
The pitiful circumstances of these three orphaned children desperately require the sharing and help of kind-hearted people near and far so that they can have the opportunity to go to school.
