The difference of the newly launched Hyundai Creta 2017
The newly launched Hyundai Creta 2017 has a different front and rear design compared to the car currently on sale in the Vietnamese market.
As previously reported, the upgraded Hyundai Creta compact crossover has officially debuted at the Sao Paulo 2016 exhibition currently taking place in Brazil. Through the "real-life" images at the exhibition, it can be seen that the 2017 Hyundai Creta has some different design features compared to the cars currently on sale in the Vietnamese and Indian markets.

Accordingly, the 2017 Hyundai Creta in the Brazilian market is equipped with a new front end with a different grille and improved headlights integrated with LED daytime running lights. The central air intake, bumper and vertical fog lights of the 2017 Hyundai Creta in Brazil have also changed.

Next up are the 17-inch 5-spoke wheels and the shark fin antenna on the roof. At the rear, the 2017 Hyundai Creta Brazil version has new taillights and bumpers. It is predicted that the upgraded Hyundai Creta in markets outside Brazil such as India and Vietnam will also have a similar design.

The basic dimensions of the 2017 Hyundai Creta include an overall length of 4.27 m, width of 1.78 m, height of 1.63 m and wheelbase of 2.59 m. The ground clearance of this small crossover is 190 mm.
Inside the 2017 Hyundai Creta in Brazil, there is a new color backlit climate control screen. The 2017 Hyundai Creta's infotainment system now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to connect to smartphones.

Overall, the interior of the Hyundai Creta 2017 is not luxurious, similar to its brother HB20. The car comes with brown leather seats and brown leather door panels. The steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake lever of the Hyundai Creta 2017 are also covered in leather. Other highlights of the Hyundai Creta 2017's equipment include a push-button start and a rear camera.

In the Brazilian market, the 2017 Hyundai Creta has two different engine options. The first is a 1.6-liter multi-fuel engine with a maximum capacity of 130 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and a maximum torque of 162 Nm at 4,850 rpm. The engine is combined with a standard manual transmission or an optional automatic.

The second is a 2.0-liter multi-fuel engine with a maximum capacity of 166 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 201 Nm at 4,700 rpm. This engine is only paired with a standard automatic transmission.

According to the plan, Hyundai Creta 2017 will be assembled at the factory in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil, along with HB20. The car will be sold on the Brazilian market in January next year with an unknown price. Competitors of Hyundai Creta 2017 in the Brazilian market are Honda HR-V and Nissan Kicks.
