In addition, the project has also built advanced production and breeding models for hundreds of participating households, such as models of Safe Vegetable Production following VietGAP (green squash) in 4 districts; growing Tuyet Shan tea following VietGAP in Huoi Tu village, Ky Son; Raising safe biological chickens in Huu Kiem (Ky Son), Xa Luong (Tuong Duong), Chau Kim (Que Phong) and Tan Lac (Quy Chau)... In general, the demonstration models have achieved higher efficiency than expected.
Through the actual implementation of the project, farmers, including many ethnic minority households, have grasped the production process and practices in the direction of good agricultural production (VietGAP), contributing to changing people's awareness in production to achieve productivity, efficiency, and increase income, especially in producing safe food.
Initially, in the project areas, cooperative groups have been formed to link production and find markets for products. Models applying scientific and technological advances in the direction of VietGAP have reduced environmental pollution and prevented soil erosion caused by traditional farming.
