Russia is ready to help Latin American countries modernize their navies.

Latin America is one of the most promising regions for Russia in terms of developing military-technical cooperation, taking into account the modernization of national naval forces.

This was stated by Mr. Oleg Azizov, Head of the Naval Department of the corporation "Rosoboronexport", Head of the Russian delegation at the exhibition "Eksponaval 2016" in Chile.

Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec) is organizing an exhibition of Russian products at the tenth international naval exhibition "Eksponaval-2016". The salon is held at the naval base of the Republic of Chile "Concon" in the city of Viña del Mar, from November 29 to December 2.

The Russian delegation is headed by the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC). The exhibition stand "Rosoboronexport" has an area of ​​​​nearly 60 square meters. It presents about 200 types of defense products in various formats that promote special exports.
