Giving 100 gifts to people in flood-hit areas of Hung Nguyen
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 13, at the People's Committee of Hung Lam and Hung Trung communes (Hung Nguyen), a number of Vietnamese organizations from Japan, including: Choa Dan 37, the Vietnamese community in Kansai, Nghe Tinh Osaka football team and volunteers from Vinh Pedagogical College and Nam Dan district organized the presentation of 100 gifts to families affected by the recent floods.

In Hung Nguyen, the delegation visited and presented 100 gifts to people in Hung Lam and Hung Trung communes, 50 gifts for each commune, including 100 warm blankets, 100 pillows, 300 pairs of socks, 200 woolen hats, 100 bottles of fish sauce, 100 packages of seasoning powder, 200 sets of notebooks, pens and presented additional cash gifts to 2 families with especially difficult circumstances in Hung Lam commune.

The total value of the delegation's gifts is 30 million VND. This is the heart and sentiment of the people of Nghe An in particular and Vietnamese people in general who are working and studying in Japan, towards their homeland, to share the difficulties with people in flood-hit areas.

Mr. Uong Thanh Hai, representative of the volunteer association, said: This volunteer campaign, the association hopes to help people have a stable life after the flood and welcome a warmer winter and promises to have more volunteer activities in Nghe An. In addition, he also hopes to receive more kind hearts towards the homeland from Vietnamese children living abroad./.
