Vietnamese-origin re-elected to party leadership in Germany
With a high number of votes, Mr. Nguyen Dac Nghiep, a Vietnamese-American, has just been re-elected for a fourth consecutive term to the leadership of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) Party in Thale, Germany.
The CDU is the largest ruling party in Thale City, with a majority of seats in the city parliament, so it always has more advantages than other parties. Notably, the chairwoman of the CDU is Angela Merkel, currently the German Chancellor. Merkel also confirmed her intention to run for re-election in the next term.
After this congress, the CDU will focus on preparing for the campaign to run for the Federal Parliament and German Chancellor in 2017.

Before coming to Germany, Mr. Nguyen Dac Nghiep had worked for a long time at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music. He is currently the general director of SAPA Thale GmbH, Germany. Mr. Nguyen Dac Nghiep is a bright Vietnamese star in the German political field today.
His four consecutive terms of election to the ruling party leadership in the city is the clearest proof of his capacity, work efficiency and trust in the party as well as the people of Thale city.
Recently, as the President of the Vietnamese Association in Thale City and surrounding areas, he also called on the community in Thale City to donate to support flood victims in central Vietnam. All the money raised was given to the organizing committee in Magdeburg City to directly help four schools in the flood-affected areas in Vietnam.
