Duong Nguyen Kha Trang's national costume has a height of over 3m, a tail of over 3.5m long, weighs 45kg, the biggest ever in the national costume category of Vietnam.

It is known that designer Le Long Dung spent 3 months to create the costume called Golden Lotus Vietnam. The costume weighs nearly 45kg so Kha Trang had to prove her bravery and good health to be able to perform on stage.

According to the designer, the costume combines the strength of father Lac Long Quan and the softness and elegance of mother Au Co. The image on the sleeve is inspired by the lotus, the national flower of Vietnam, next to it are the winding swirls symbolizing the fairy and dragon.

This year’s Miss Supranational pageant will be hosted by Poland and Slovakia from November 19 to December 3. The final awards ceremony will take place on December 2 (early morning of December 3, Vietnam time) in the city of Krynica-Zdrój (Poland) with about 70 contestants competing.

Duong Nguyen Kha Trang is the official representative licensed by the Department of Performing Arts to compete. Last year, Ao Dai runner-up Le Quyen participated in this contest but was not lucky enough to be among the top contestants.
