(Baonghean.vn) - According to the plan, in the 2017 spring crop, Thanh Chuong district strives to plant 14,600 hectares of short-term crops, achieving 68,360 tons of grain output and 78,975 tons of starchy root crops.

For perennial crops, the district has increased the planting of new tea and sugarcane in planned areas, especially resettlement areas; planted 30 hectares of V2 oranges in Doai commune, 16 hectares of Dien grapefruit; planted 1,200 hectares of new forests and 30,000 hectares of scattered trees, and strengthened intensive measures to protect forest fire prevention and control. Directed the development and prevention of diseases for livestock and poultry, implemented well the support policies and mechanisms for livestock breeders, and planned centralized slaughterhouses.
