Zidane makes Real history with unbeaten record
The 3-2 win over Deportivo in La Liga yesterday, December 10, was Zinedine Zidane's 35th unbeaten match as Real Madrid coach.
35 is also the longest unbeaten streak in Real Madrid's history, surpassing the old record of 34 matches set by former coach Leo Beenhakker between October 1988 and April 1989.
Zidane has only led Real since the beginning of 2016. Since then, this coach has only failed twice.
Since April 2016, Zidane's Real have not lost a match. That includes a victory in the Champions League final and two successful El Clasico matches at the Nou Camp: a 2-1 win and a 1-1 draw.

Next week, Real will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan. Until the Champions League knockout stages early next year, the Bernabeu team will not face worthy opponents in La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
Besides his unbeaten record with Real, Zidane also has two titles: the Champions League and the 2016 European Super Cup. This is an excellent achievement for a coach who is only 44 years old and has been working for less than 11 months.
