Foreign intelligence prepares cyber attack on Russia's biggest banks
The Federal Security Service has just announced that foreign intelligence agencies are preparing large-scale cyber attacks to destabilize Russia's financial system.

Notably, some of Russia's largest banks have been targeted by potential cyber attacks.
"The Russian Federal Security Service has received information that foreign intelligence services are preparing to carry out a large-scale cyber attack aimed at destabilizing the Russian financial system, including the activities of a number of large Russian banks, starting from December 5, 2016," the agency said in a statement.
It is noted that the cyber attack command centers are located in the Netherlands and are owned by a Ukrainian company. Currently, in light of the newly received information, the Russian Federal Security Service is taking the necessary actions to neutralize the threat to economic and information security.
