A vibrant celebration of national unity takes place in western Nghe An province.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 13th, the people of Na Khom village, Yen Na commune (Tuong Duong district) enthusiastically celebrated the National Unity Day.
Na Khom village has 108 households, 100% of whom are ethnic Thai people. Over the years, Na Khom village has fostered unity and successfully implemented the "nationwide movement for building a cultured life in residential areas." Na Khom was recognized as a cultural village in 2014.

In 2016, the people of Na Khom village achieved many positive results. The material and spiritual lives of the people improved, security and order were maintained, and community bonds strengthened. The village particularly excelled in economic development, especially in livestock farming. Currently, the village has 200 cows and 58 buffaloes. A prime example is the farm of Mr. Vi Ha Trinh, which has a model of raising buffaloes, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, and planting trees.

The percentage of families recognized as "cultured families" in the village reached 52%, the people worked together to preserve the Thai cultural identity, and the number of students entering colleges and universities increased compared to previous years…

Phuong Tien 3 village is one of the exemplary villages in Tien Phong commune. Over time, the material and spiritual lives of the people have undergone many changes; the economy has continuously improved. In 2014, Phuong Tien 3 village was recognized as a district-level cultural village.
On this occasion, 15 families in Phuong Tien 3 village received gifts from the Que Phong District People's Committee totaling over 10 million VND. Mr. Le Van Giap, Chairman of the Que Phong District People's Committee, personally donated 2 million VND to Phuong Tien 3 village.
