80th Signal Brigade conducts exercise to ensure communication in combat

(Baonghean.vn) - From November 16 to 18, the 80th Information Brigade (Military Region 4) organized a drill to ensure communication in combat with the content "Command drill of one side and two levels on a map deploying a command post in the field, with a part of live troops".

The Brigade Party Committee approved a plan to ensure communications.

This year's exercise used mobile forces and vehicles, deployed and connected components of the information center, used new generation jump machines working in electronic warfare conditions; deployed at night, in relatively complex terrain, facing difficulties in command, direction and operation of the information system. The exercise went through the following stages: transitioning from regular to high combat readiness; preparing for combat and practicing combat.

During the 2-day exercise, the Brigade organized the unit to march into the deployment area on time, ensuring safety and secrecy. Commanders at all levels and squads occupied the construction of fortifications, stations and deployed the information system in the correct order, meeting technical and tactical requirements. The wired information network was quickly established, ensuring timely and uninterrupted communication. The officers, soldiers and radio specialists were flexible in handling information situations to transfer and receive electricity promptly, with high reliability in strong electronic warfare conditions.

To ensure the force, equipment, and battlefield for the exercise to achieve high results, the 80th Information Brigade coordinated with the local authorities of Nam Dan district to select the location and area for the exercise, build a system of command post trenches, and battlefield fortifications according to standards. Through the exercise, the technical and tactical skills of officers and soldiers were improved. At the same time, the force in the information vehicle crews was trained to use new equipment and vehicles proficiently for officers and soldiers.
