Fire safety drill at the pharmaceutical warehouse.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 9th, Fire Prevention and Control Police Station No. 1, in coordination with Nghe An Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, organized a fire fighting drill.

In the simulated scenario, a fire broke out in the warehouse of a pharmaceutical factory due to an electrical short circuit. Upon discovering the fire, the factory's fire fighting team reported the fire and implemented a fire suppression plan based on the "four on-site" principle. However, because the warehouse contained many flammable materials such as wood, plastic, fabric, and gasoline, the fire spread rapidly.

Upon receiving the signal, Fire Department Station No. 1 mobilized two specialized vehicles and 30 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. After 10 minutes of implementing fire suppression and rescue plans, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.

The drill aimed to improve awareness and skills in firefighting and rescue operations for officers, employees, and the on-site firefighting force of Nghe An Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
