Northeast bus accident, Party Secretary of commune dies

(Baonghean.vn) - On his way home from work, Mr. Lap was hit from behind by a bus of Dong Bac company and had to be hospitalized and later died.

On the morning of December 16, the authorities of Tam Hop commune (Quy Hop) said that an accident had just occurred in the commune, causing Mr. Truong Quang Lap (born in 1960, resident of Tam Hop commune) to be hit and killed by a Dong Bac bus.

The tragic accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on December 15, on National Highway 48, passing through Quyet Tien hamlet, Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district.

At the above time, Mr. Truong Quang Lap - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tho Hop commune was riding his motorbike on the way home (from Quy Hop town - Vinh). When he was about 1km from home, he was suddenly hit from behind by a bus of Dong Bac company with license plate 37B-018.45 going in the same direction.

The sudden crash caused Mr. Lap and his motorbike to fall onto the road and be dragged for about 5 meters. Immediately afterward, Mr. Lap was taken to the Quy Hop District General Hospital for emergency treatment.

However, due to severe injuries, Mr. Truong Quang Lap died that afternoon.

Upon receiving the news, Quy Hop District Police were present at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.

It is known that Mr. Truong Quang Lap was formerly the Party Secretary of Tam Hop commune. In 2015, Mr. Lap was assigned the task of Party Secretary of Tho Hop commune (about 5 km from Tam Hop commune).
