Tran Lap passed away at his home on March 17 after nearly 5 months of fighting rectal cancer. He passed away when he had just turned 43, his career was developing, his talent was at its peak. In particular, his children were still young and in great need of their father's care and protection. His passing left in the hearts of millions of music lovers a feeling of regret, sorrow and longing.

The 9 months since he left this world to go to a world without pain were 9 months that his family, friends and fans have been missing him. And yesterday (December 11), his wife, children, friends and fans went to his grave in Thien Duc cemetery (Phu Tho) to celebrate Tran Lap's birthday. According to the schedule, December 12 was his birthday, but because yesterday was Sunday, everyone had the opportunity to sit by his grave longer.

Tran Lap’s birthday was celebrated at the graveside with cake, fruits, boiled corn (Tran Lap’s favorite food) and music. His wife, children and friends blew out the candles and sent him warm wishes as if he were alive.
