MC Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen's mother passed away in the US.

Ms. Dang Tuyet Mai, a former beauty queen of Saigon, passed away on December 21st (local time) due to lung cancer at the age of 75.

Mr. Bui Xuan Hien, the husband of Mrs. Dang Tuyet Mai, said that before her death, his wife had difficulty breathing and was taken by her family to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California for treatment. However, she did not survive. She had previously suffered from lung cancer.

According to singer Thanh Ha, MC Ky Duyen didn't get to see her mother when she passed away because she returned to Vietnam to attend to her business. "Poor Ky Duyen. In the morning, she was still laughing and smiling happily at the restaurant's grand opening. That evening, she came home crying and then packed her bags to go to the airport to be with her mother. But her mother passed away before she could see her only daughter one last time," the overseas singer shared.
