Having learned how to produce crystal meth while working abroad, Hoa and his wife returned to Vietnam and opened a "factory" right at home.

On December 22, Phu Tho Provincial Police coordinated with Hanoi Police to arrest and search the residence of Thach Van Hoa (60 years old, Nam Tu Liem district) - a link in an inter-provincial drug ring.

During the search, the police discovered that Hoa was illegally producing methamphetamine. The police seized more than 10 kg of methamphetamine, worth over 10 billion VND, along with many glass bottles containing precursor solutions and tools for producing this drug.

Police clarified that in 2014, Hoa and his wife, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, rented a house in Nam Tu Liem district to produce crystal meth. The couple reinforced the entrance system and arranged an emergency exit at the back. Customers buying drugs had to transact through the iron door system.

Hoa and his wife had worked in Eastern European countries and learned how to produce crystal meth by refining precursor solutions, pharmaceutical powders and chemicals. After returning to Vietnam, they both opened a crystal meth "factory" in their own home.

In addition to the above acts, according to police records, Hoa is one of the links involved in the 300 heroin trafficking ring that was busted by Phu Tho Provincial Police at the end of November.

The case is under further investigation.
