According to the report of the District People's Committee presented at the meeting: In 2016, the economic growth rate reached 7.75%. Total production value reached more than 8,700 billion VND, exceeding the plan and increasing 7.54% compared to 2015. Total food output reached more than 104 thousand tons, exceeding the plan and increasing 0.12% compared to 2015.

Aquaculture and seafood exploitation output reached over 69,000 tons, exceeding the plan and increasing by 19.7% compared to 2015. During the year, it is estimated that 3 more communes will meet new rural standards. Total investment capital in 2016 reached over 3,760 billion VND, increasing by 12.53% compared to 2015; Total state budget revenue reached nearly 210 billion VND, exceeding the plan by 20% and increasing by 37.2% compared to 2015.

The cultural and social fields have many positive changes, especially the rate of cultural villages increased by 8.12% and employment exceeded 12.9% compared to 2015. Social security work is given attention. Discipline and administrative discipline continue to be strengthened. National defense and social security are maintained, social order and safety are ensured.

Quynh Luu's aquaculture and seafood exploitation output in 2016 reached more than 69,000 tons.

Also at this session, the People's Council of Quynh Luu district will consider, discuss and approve 7 draft resolutions to decide on mechanisms and policies; at the same time, dismiss Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, former commander of the district Military Command, from the position of member of the district People's Committee for the 19th term of 2016 - 2021, and elect 2 additional members of the district People's Committee, including Mr. Tran Vu Hai - Commander of the district Military Command and Mr. Ho Huu Hung - Head of the district Justice Department./.
