(Baonghean.vn) - From December 1st to 4th, the 4th Military Region Command directed the 324th Division to successfully organize a command and staff exercise at two levels in the field, including a live-fire component, with the theme "Infantry Division Reinforced with Technical Weapons Attacks Enemy Defended Area".
The exercise, conducted by the command, agencies, and units of the 324th Division, involved thorough preparation and the correct sequence of steps: transitioning to combat readiness; organizing combat preparations; and practicing combat and live firing of the "Infantry Battalion Reinforced with Technical Weapons Attacking the Defended Enemy."

A highlight of the exercise was the close coordination and effective management by the command and control agencies, closely reflecting the actual situation, mission requirements, and assigned area. Division and Regiment commanders organized the briefing on tasks and deployed personnel; conducted research, assessments, and conclusions on the situation; formulated combat plans; and approved combat plans in a rigorous, principled, and highly effective manner.

In particular, during the combat firing practice, Battalion 5 (Regiment 335) coordinated with reinforced tank, artillery, air defense, engineering, and chemical forces; deployed combat formations in a tight, principled, and tactical manner across all fronts and directions, successfully completing the mission of attacking and destroying enemy defenses.

Through command and staff training exercises, regimental and divisional officers flexibly apply theoretical principles of tactical forms and specific operational staff methods, tailored to the target and operational area within the defense zone. This further enhances the organizational and command skills, coordination, work methods, and work style of commanders and staff at all levels, as well as the coordination of units.
