Suspected electrical short circuit, house engulfed in flames.

(Baonghean.vn) - A fire that broke out on the morning of January 7th destroyed many belongings in a resident's house in Quynh Thuan commune (Quynh Luu district).

Accordingly, at around 9:45 AM, the house of Mr. Nguyen Van Can in Hamlet 2, Quynh Thuan Commune (Quynh Luu District) caught fire.

Upon receiving the report, local authorities mobilized police, militia, and residents to quickly extinguish the fire. After 30 minutes, the fire was brought under control, but many valuable items inside the house were completely destroyed.

According to observations, the scene of the fire was a three-room house with an upper floor, tiled roof, and wooden rafters.

According to the homeowner, when the fire broke out, a newly purchased motorbike belonging to the family was also destroyed, and many other belongings could not be salvaged in time. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The initial cause has been identified as an electrical short circuit from the motorcycle, which then spread to the wooden staircase. The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
