Siu Black unexpectedly returns to singing after her debt crisis.
"Recently, my family has faced many difficulties. I want to see my mother happy and not lonely... That's what motivates her to continue her singing career," Siu Manh shared in the program 'Singing with My Beloved Mother'.
Starting off impressively, 'Singing with My Beloved Mother' brought many viewers to tears with the warm affection and sincerity of the six mother-daughter artist pairs. Emotions were conveyed through simple things, from happy glances to the nervous yet endearing feelings of mothers and daughters performing on stage for the first time.
Singer Siu Black and her son Siu Manh participated in the program, performing the song 'Searching for the Lullaby of the Sun Goddess'.

Siu Manh shared that he wasn't confident performing the song because it was his first time singing a duet with his mother on stage, and he couldn't help but feel anxious and pressured about making mistakes or forgetting lyrics. Although he has a stable job in Kon Tum, he revealed his reason for participating in the program: "Recently, my family has faced many difficulties, and seeing my mother struggling to sing makes me feel sad. To make her happy and not feel lonely, having someone to accompany her on her musical journey, I participated. Moreover, I hope my mother stays healthy and has the motivation to continue singing."
Hearing her son's heartfelt words, Siu Black couldn't hide her happiness. She said she wanted her son to participate in the program so he would understand the immense pressure she felt every time she stood on stage. Throughout the performance, Siu Black deliberately chose high, difficult notes to sing, allowing her son to shine.
The performance was quite outstanding, receiving positive feedback from the three judges. Meritorious Artist Ngoc Giau and renowned singer Phuong Dung both praised Siu Manh, noting his courage on stage despite not being a singer. Musician Duc Huy highly appreciated the meaningful motivation of Siu Black's son. However, the singer herself only gave her son a score of 5, with 2 points for courage and only 3 for his singing ability. This strictness is understandable, given that Siu Black was once a judge on Vietnam Idol.
In addition, the remaining five mother-daughter artist pairs also moved the audience.
The show opened with the mother-son duo, artist Kim Phuong and singer Tong Hao Nhien, performing the song "Singing with My Beloved Mother," composed by the male singer himself. The performance received a "shower" of praise from the judges.
