(Baonghean.vn) - The police in Trang Son commune (Do Luong district) said they are temporarily detaining the sand mining equipment of Thai Cuc Company for continuing to mine sand and gravel outside the permitted area.

On the morning of December 2nd, at the sand and gravel stockpiling area in Trang Son commune, the Trang Son commune police caught Thai Cuc company red-handed while illegally exploiting sand and gravel.

The sand and gravel suction machine is only 50 meters from the collection point.

At the site, the sand and gravel suction machine of Thai Cuc Company was pumping sand and gravel 50 meters away from the stockpiling area. This area is not within the permitted mining territory of Thai Cuc Company.

The illegal sand and gravel mining by Thai Cuc Company has angered many voters, and voters in Trang Son and Boi Son communes have repeatedly requested relevant departments and agencies to take action, but to date, Thai Cuc Company continues to operate illegally with impunity.

Thus, over two days (December 1st and 2nd), the Trang Son commune police, in coordination with the Do Luong district police, caught Thai Cuc Company red-handed for illegally exploiting sand and gravel. However, the company did not comply and continued to brazenly violate the law.

The sand and gravel extraction equipment of Thai Cuc Company is operating illegally.

Currently, the Trang Son commune police are temporarily detaining the vehicles and suspending the illegal sand and gravel mining operations of Thai Cuc Company to clarify the matter.
