(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 4th, leaders of Tan Ky district and the Party Committee and government of Dong Van commune visited and presented gifts from benefactors to help Ms. Ha Thi Nam, a single mother suffering from kidney failure.

Representatives from the Tan Ky District Party Committee and the Party Committee and government of Dong Van commune presented financial assistance from benefactors to the family of Ms. Ha Thi Nam.

Ms. Ha Thi Nam (born in 1972), residing in Tan Dong hamlet, Dong Van commune, has been suffering from end-stage chronic kidney disease for over three years. Her family is classified as extremely poor, and Ms. Nam currently lacks the funds to receive hemodialysis treatment at the hospital. Her daughter, born without a father and already deprived of parental affection, is now at risk of dropping out of school due to her mother's serious illness.

On this occasion, the leaders of Tan Ky district and the Party Committee and government of Dong Van commune personally handed over 10,200,000 VND to Ms. Nam and her children.
