Donating LED lights to poor households in Nghia Dan

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 22, Nghia Dan District Electricity organized a donation of LED flashlights to poor households and electricity-saving households in 7 communes of Nghia Tho, Nghia Mai, Nghia Thinh, Nghia Binh, Nghia Trung, Nghia Lam and Nghia Hoi.

During this period, Nghia Dan District Electricity donated 420 LED flashlights and replaced the electrical system for families in especially difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 55 million VND.

Nghia Dan District Electricity also directly visited each family to install light bulbs, renovate and replace the electrical system; consulted and instructed households on how to use electricity economically, safely and effectively.

Giving LED flashlights to poor households is part of a series of activities responding to the National Target Program on energy saving and efficiency in 2016. This is an annual and meaningful activity that Nghia Dan District Electricity Company is oriented towards the community, demonstrating the high responsibility of the enterprise towards the poverty reduction program and socio-economic development of the locality.
