Seized 1.1 tons of pumpkin seeds of unknown origin

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 10:00 a.m. on December 27, at Ru Nguoc area in Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district, the Thanh Chuong district police working group discovered and arrested a truck with license plate 37C-203.56 driven by Ho Van Hoang (residing in Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district).

1.1 tons of pumpkin seeds on a truck were brought to the Thanh Chuong district police station for inspection.

The vehicle was carrying a quantity of pumpkin seeds with 26 striped snake bags without documents proving origin, weighing 1.1 tons.

According to initial investigation, all of the above goods belonged to Nguyen Thi Loan (born in 1971, residing in hamlet 4, Thanh Tuong commune, Thanh Chuong district).

These goods were transported from Ky Son district for consumption. The case is being investigated by Thanh Chuong district police.
