Inter Milan have just officially completed the winter signing of Roberto Gagliardini from Atalanta.

Specifically, Inter Milan's homepage has just confirmed that they have signed midfielder Roberto Gagliardini from Atalanta on a 1.5 year loan contract. It is known that the contract includes a clause to buy this young talent at the end of the 2017-18 season for 25 million euros.

Roberto Gagliardini has been one of the biggest revelations in Serie A this season. Thanks to his good form after 14 appearances for Atalanta, Gagliardini has been called up twice by Italy coach Giampiero Ventura for matches against Liechtenstein and Germany.

Sharing on the day of signing the contract, Gagliardini said: "I am very happy to become an Inter Milan player. This is a dream come true for me. I can't wait to work with coach Stefano Pioli, play alongside my new teammates and of course wear the blue-black shirt in front of thousands of spectators at San Siro."

The reason why Inter Milan quickly carried out this deal was because they were afraid of losing Roberto Gagliardini to other big teams in Serie A. Before recruiting Roberto Gagliardini, Inter Milan had said goodbye to two players: Felipe Melo (to Palmeiras) and Stevan Jovetic (to Sevilla).
