Nghe An Post Office improves service quality and efficiency.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 3rd, the Nghe An Provincial Post Office held a meeting to review the performance of its tasks in 2016 and to implement the plan for 2017.

Attending the conference were Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Comrade Chu Quang Hao - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation.Also attending were representatives from provincial departments and agencies, as well as representatives from post offices in districts and towns.

In 2016, based on its production and business plans, Nghe An Post Office implemented solutions to maintain the stability of its service network capacity, with 572 service points, averaging over 5,000 people per point; expanding and increasing the distribution network and the volume of newspapers distributed; to date, 442 out of 480 communes, wards, and towns have access to newspapers on the same day; the rate of safe mail delivery reached 98%.

In addition to traditional services, the Provincial Post Office has collaborated with departments, agencies, and partners to develop new services, which have initially yielded positive results.

Entering 2017, to achieve a revenue of VND 334.28 billion, the Provincial Post Office determined to continue effectively implementing traditional services and developing new services; focusing on improving delivery services; strengthening operational capacity and implementing internal economic mechanisms; actively reviewing and monitoring service quality; and continuing to apply science and technology to save costs and streamline production processes.export…

On behalf of the Prime Minister, Mr. Le Xuan Dai, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, presented the Government's Excellent Emulation Flag for 2016 to Nghe An Post Office.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Le Xuan Dai – Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – congratulated the Provincial Post Office on its achievements in 2016 and expressed his hope that the Provincial Post Office would continue to improve the quality of public services, especially social welfare payments; closely follow the province's political tasks to devise appropriate measures for task implementation; continuously expand and improve the quality of public services, especially in remote areas; continue to coordinate with departments and agencies to expand public administrative services; implement the results of receiving and returning public service documents according to Government Decree 45/CP on public services and aim towards building an e-government; take care of the rights of workers, the poor, and people with meritorious services while providing attentive customer care…

Comrade Chu Quang Hao - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Post - presented the 2016 Excellent Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the Nghe An Provincial Postal Union.

The Ministry of Information and Communications awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag to Vinh Central Post Office and Thanh Chuong Post Office.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Commendation to Con Cuong District Post Office and Hoang Mai Town Post Office.

At the conference, delegates reviewed 10 outstanding achievements of Nghe An Post Office over the past year, and discussed and sought directions and solutions for implementing the 2017 plan.

Representing the Vietnam Post Corporation, Mr. Chu Quang Hao, Deputy General Director of the Corporation, also delivered a speech outlining some tasks and directions for the industry in 2017.

On this occasion, the Provincial Post Office announced and presented commendation decisions to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in performing their duties in 2016.
