The advantage of this modern irrigation system is that it saves more than 50% of the water volume, so my family only needs to use one well to water the entire orange garden.

Not only does it help reduce irrigation costs, drip irrigation technology can also reduce fertilization. Accordingly, soluble fertilizers such as nitrogen, potassium, liquid fertilizers, etc. can be applied to the garden through a drip irrigation system through a mixing tank attached to the main control valve. Thanks to that, the productivity, quality, and appearance of Mr. Hung's orange garden are superior to those of orange growers using traditional irrigation methods.

Because, with the drip irrigation system, the irrigation water is supplied directly to the plants, there is no loss due to evaporation and the water penetrates deeper. Drip irrigation also has the ability to maintain uniform moisture in the cultivated soil layer, and at the same time, combined with soluble fertilizer or spraying pesticides, so crop yield increases; limiting pests and diseases.

According to the Vietnam Institute of Water Resources, the cost of installing a drip irrigation system wrapped around the base of the tree is about 50 million VND/ha. The lifespan of this system can last from 10 to 15 years, suitable for people's investment capacity.
