Vietnam ranks 96th in the world happiness index
In the World Happiness Report, Vietnam ranks 96th out of 157 countries. Denmark ranks first.

The World Happiness Report is scored according to criteria such as life expectancy, social welfare, freedom, generosity and per capita income by the United Nations. Vietnam ranked 96th in this ranking with 5,061 points, the Telegraph reported.
In the list, half of the top 10 countries with the highest happiness index are in Northern Europe. Topping the list is Denmark with 7,526 points.
Next in line are Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, and Sweden.
The bottom 10 countries on the list are Madagascar, Tanzania, Liberia, Guinea, Rwanda, Benin, Afghanistan, Togo, Syria, and Buruni, with the lowest score of 2,905.
Singapore ranked 22nd and is considered the happiest country in Asia. This is a developed country with a high quality of life, developed health and education, and a clean and green environment. Thailand ranked 33rd with 6,474 points, Japan ranked 53rd on the list with 5,921 points.
