Miss and First Runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2016 revealed they will wear traditional costumes on the streets on the first day of the Lunar New Year (Year of the Rooster).

The beauty queen said she supports designer Thuy Nguyen's message, "I wear an ao dai on the first day of Tet." This year, My Linh will wear an ao dai to celebrate the Lunar New Year and visit temples to preserve the national cultural identity.
