Toyota Concept-i - A super unique concept car.

At the CES 2017 consumer electronics show currently taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Toyota unveiled a new model called the Concept-i. According to Toyota, the Concept-i showcases the company's vision for the future of automobiles.

The Concept-i is a product designed by Toyota's CALTY Design Research Center in California, USA. The idea behind the Toyota Concept-i is to provide a fresh new experience for users.

Similar to current concept cars, the Toyota Concept-i is also a self-driving car, developed around human drivers.

Furthermore, the AI ​​system also exchanges important information with the driver and passengers inside the vehicle. The system uses light, sound, and even touch to interact with those inside the car.

The interior of the Toyota Concept-i isn't cluttered with touchscreens like most cars. Therefore, the Toyota Concept-i only provides information when necessary. For example, color-changing lights under the occupants' feet indicate when the car is in normal or autonomous driving mode.

Outwardly, the Toyota Concept-i has a futuristic design. Many even feel that the Toyota Concept-i should have been designed by Apple.

The body panels of the Toyota Concept-i are capable of displaying a greeting message for the driver and passengers as they approach the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the rear of the vehicle displays text and signals if it detects danger.

The front of the car, in particular, shows when the Toyota Concept-i is running in normal or autonomous mode.

For now, Toyota hasn't specified the powertrain of the Concept-i. However, it's safe to assume the Toyota Concept-i will use an electric motor.

Currently, the Toyota Concept-i remains a concept car and is unlikely to be commercially produced.
