Hoang Mai District: 97% of households use clean water.
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 11th, the Hoang Mai Town Party Committee held its 9th Standing Committee meeting. Comrade Doan Hong Vu – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee – chaired the meeting.
Attending the conference were comrades: Pham Thi Hong Toan – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, in charge of Hoang Mai town, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; and comrade Tran Van Hong – Deputy Head of the Professional Department, Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department.
The conference heard and commented on the following projects: the results of two years of implementing the project to ensure water supply for domestic use and production in the area; the project on job positions and civil servant rank structure in Party, Fatherland Front and mass organizations; and the project on job positions in the People's Council and People's Committee of the town.

After two years of implementing the project on ensuring water supply for domestic and industrial use, the percentage of households using hygienic water in Hoang Mai town has reached over 97% (an increase of 5.7% compared to the project's target). The abundant raw water resources, both in quantity and quality, basically meet the requirements of standards for clean water used in the production of domestic and industrial water.

The town has received investment for the construction of two water treatment plants: the Quynh Xuan plant and the Hoang Mai town water treatment plant. In addition to the existing system of canals, rivers, and reservoirs, localities in the area have invested over 13 billion VND to repair and build many bridges, culverts, and canals to facilitate agricultural production.
Besides the achievements, based on identifying existing shortcomings and limitations, the project has proposed solutions for the future: Strengthening propaganda work and raising awareness among people and the community; enhancing state management in water resource management; attracting and mobilizing capital to upgrade and invest in the construction of water supply systems…
The conference also heard and discussed proposals on job positions, agreeing to implement the proposal based on the regulations of the Party Central Committee and the Government Decree, and based on the proposal when establishing Hoang Mai town, in order to make appropriate adjustments and implement it according to the roadmap.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper – shared experiences in implementing the Nghe An Newspaper's employment project; and contributed opinions on the implementation of the town's job position project.
Accordingly, the implementation of the employment scheme needs to take into account the educational background, experience, and skills of each official, civil servant, and public employee in order to classify and reassign job positions appropriately and in line with local requirements, aiming to build a streamlined, stable, effective, and efficient organizational structure.
Also during this morning's working session, DKNEC Mechanical, Electrical, and Automation Measurement Company presented its investment project "GEI CITY Green Industrial and Economic Zone" with a total investment of over 7,000 billion VND and a total area of over 161 hectares, located in Quynh Loc commune.
