Vietnam and China signed 15 important cooperation documents.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping witnessed the signing ceremony of 15 cooperation documents between Vietnam and China on the afternoon of January 12 at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, right after the end of the talks.

15 documents include:

- Agreement on cooperation in training high-ranking officials between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of China.

- Memorandum of cooperation between the Central Economic Commission and the Development Research Center of the State Council of China.

- Letter of exchange on technical support for planning the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong standard gauge railway route.

- Joint Vision Statement on defense cooperation between the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the Ministry of National Defense of China until 2025.

- Framework agreement on land border gate cooperation between the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the General Administration of Customs of China.

- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in implementing non-refundable aid specializing in the field of public health between the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and the Ministry of Commerce of China.

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China on enhancing cooperation in the field of technical barriers to trade.

- Agreement on cooperation in releasing and cultivating aquatic resources in the Gulf of Tonkin, Vietnam - China.

- Vietnam - China Tourism Cooperation Plan for the period 2017-2019.

- Cooperation agreement between the National Political Publishing House - Truth and the People's Publishing House of China for the period 2017-2021.

- Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation plan for the 2017-2021 period between the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

- Memorandum of cooperation between the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the China Red Cross Society.

- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in making the TV series "The charm of Vietnam - the charm of China" between Vietnam Television and China Central Television.

- Cooperation agreement between Voice of Vietnam and China Radio International.

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam and the China Development Bank on cooperation in project financing and medium- and long-term bilateral lending for the 2017-2019 period.
