Lamborghini supercar causes fatal accident, driver leaves scene

About 500m from the toll station on Highway 51, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province, a Lamborghini supercar hit and killed a man crossing the road, causing the victim to die on the spot.

According to initial information, the accident occurred at 11:00 a.m. on January 21 at Km 26+300 of National Highway 51, passing through Long Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district.

Currently, the Traffic Police of Long Thanh District are coordinating with other authorities to investigate the cause of the accident.

It is known that at that time, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV supercar with license plate number: 51F – 835.35 was driven by a 35-year-old man (unknown background) at high speed, traveling on Highway 51, from Vung Tau to Ho Chi Minh City.

About 500m from the toll station on Highway 51, this supercar crashed head-on into a man about 60 years old who was crossing the road.

The accident left the man dead on the spot, and the supercar's front windshield shattered. The driver who caused the accident quickly left the scene.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police of National Highway 51 Station under the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, Dong Nai Provincial Police, coordinated with the Traffic Police - Long Thanh District Police to examine the scene, take statements from related people and witnesses to serve the investigation.

It is known that the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV supercar mentioned above is owned by the young master Minh Nhua. However, Minh Nhua recently sold it and there is information that a tycoon bought it and changed the license plate to 51F – 835.35 as mentioned above.
