(Baonghean.vn) - Although it is the beginning of the new spring season, and everyone is busy with plans for spring outings, visiting and wishing their grandparents, parents, and relatives a Happy New Year, production activities at many factories and enterprises continue as usual.
On a day in early 2017, the production line of the Hoa Sen Steel Sheet factory was still working diligently. Each production stage in the line has 3-5 workers. Due to the nature of the work, the workers here always maintain a high level of concentration to complete their respective stages as best as possible. Young worker Phan Van Kien, from the central department of the color coating line, said that his home is in Ha Tinh, and in previous years he usually got time off and went home for Tet. This year, however, taking on a new job at the Hoa Sen Steel Sheet factory and fulfilling the company's production plan, he stayed to work throughout Tet.
Kien said: “I work far from home, so I can't be near my family during Tet, but I still try my best at work. Moreover, the management also cares for and supports the workers with salaries, bonuses, overtime pay, meal allowances… and a fairly generous holiday pay system. The factory also organizes a year-end party, decorating with peach blossoms, flowers, banh chung, banh tet… everything is complete, so even though I'm far from home, I still feel the warm and lively atmosphere of Tet.”

Like Mr. Kien, hundreds of production workers on the assembly lines at Hoa Sen Hoang Mai Steel Factory did not take a break, but worked throughout the Tet holiday. This is part of the company's annual production plan to ensure the continuous operation of the factory and fulfill orders from many partners. During Tet holidays like this, the factory always has many policies to reward its employees, with salaries, bonuses, and overtime pay being many times higher than usual.

Mr. Phan Van Anh, the color plating line manager, said: “Currently, the factory is in the production and completion phase, so the workload is very heavy. Therefore, even during the Tet holiday, 100 out of 100 employees and workers are working throughout the holiday. Besides the efforts of the staff, the factory's management also regularly shows concern, encourages, and creates the best conditions for employees to have a truly fulfilling and joyful Tet holiday at the factory, ensuring labor efficiency.”
