For Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan in Nghi Phu, besides selling goods, she also makes and decorates baskets with plastic, fabric, and crystal flowers. With her skillful hands, she creates beautiful baskets of plastic and crystal flowers from disparate materials and sells them for 600,000 - 900,000 VND per basket.

Ms. Loan said: "Crystal flowers are a new and quite beautiful type of flower, so many families buy them to decorate during Tet (Lunar New Year). Therefore, thanks to my careful and meticulous work, I earn an extra 200,000 VND each day from making these flowers."

For Mr. Tran Hai, a long-time shoe shiner in Vinh, Tet (Lunar New Year) is just like any other day. His job is shoe shining, and during Tet, there are even fewer customers because people are busy with their work and don't have time. He still diligently sits at the breakfast shop offering shoe shining services, maintaining the price of 10,000 VND per pair. He confided: "I'm trying to work one more day so I have money to spend every day. If I work hard, I can earn 100,000 to 200,000 VND each day. People in my profession face even greater difficulties during Tet because there are no customers."

A "hot" and highly sought-after job is delivering goods for online sales services. Tuan Anh works in this field and says that the workload is increasing day by day. As long as there's an order, the delivery fee by motorbike is 50,000 VND per trip within the city. During Tet (Lunar New Year), the price is 60-70,000 VND per trip. These days, many people hire him to deliver goods, and he can work all day without running out of work. This seems to be a very promising job with a bright future.

Peeling garlic and onions for others, even grinding meat and fish, preparing and selling ready-made food... these are all very popular during Tet (Lunar New Year).
