Quynh Luu: Wishing longevity to the elderly over 100 years old

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 17, leaders of Quynh Luu district organized working delegations to visit and wish longevity to people over 100 years old on the occasion of the Spring of Dinh Dau 2017.

In 2017, Quynh Luu district had 27 people who were 100 years old. Mrs. Ho Thi Sau in An Hoa commune, 107 years old, was the oldest woman in the district and Mr. Cao Ban in Quynh Giang commune, 111 years old, was the oldest man in the district.

On this occasion, the delegations presented each elderly person with a longevity certificate, 5 meters of red silk from the President, a longevity certificate and a cash gift worth 500,000 VND from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and a gift and cash worth 500,000 VND from the Chairman of the Quynh Luu District People's Committee.

At each place they visited, wished and celebrated longevity, the leaders of Quynh Luu district kindly asked about the health of the elderly. At the same time, they encouraged their families and localities to care for and create conditions for the elderly to live happily and healthily, setting a good example for their children and grandchildren to follow, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
