Localities and units give gifts to the poor on the occasion of Dinh Dau Tet 2017

Nghia Dan gives 40 Tet gifts to poor households
On the afternoon of January 23, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district organized the presentation of 40 gifts from Can Linh pagoda to poor households in Nghia Loc commune. Each gift included 200,000 VND in cash, 10 kg of rice, a bag of candy, and MSG.

On this occasion, the district Fatherland Front also presented a gift worth 1 million VND to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuc, 94 years old, a religious person, belonging to a particularly poor household in Vinh Giang hamlet, Nghia Loc.
Up to now, in Nghia Loc commune, 126 poor households have received Tet gifts with a total value of about 65 million VND.

Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee gives Tet gifts to the poor
On the occasion of the Dinh Dau New Year 2017, on the afternoon of January 23, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee organized a gift-giving ceremony for households in especially difficult circumstances, lonely elderly people, and orphans in Nghia An commune (Nghia Dan).
Here, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the delegation presented 30 gifts in kind, each worth 500,000 VND, to households.

At the gift-giving ceremony, comrade Phan Thanh Doai, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, shared the difficulties with the people and acknowledged the efforts of the local government in caring for households in especially difficult circumstances and policy families.
This is also a source of spiritual encouragement for poor households and brings them a warm winter and a happier and more fulfilling Lunar New Year./.

Nghe An Border Guards presented 550 gifts to border residents.
Responding to the program "Warm Tet in the Western region of Nghe An", preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year Dinh Dau 2017, officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard presented 550 gifts to people in the border area.
In order for the gifts to reach the people before the Lunar New Year of Dinh Dau, the Provincial Border Guard Command has sent working groups to directly give gifts to the people. With the motto of not letting any border people go hungry during Tet, the Border Guard stations have coordinated with the locality to select households to give gifts directly. The value of each gift is 500,000 VND including cash and necessities for Tet. In particular, the three communes of Mon Son in Con Cuong district, Tam Hop in Tuong Duong district and Bac Ly in Ky Son district each commune received 100 gifts from the Provincial Border Guard. The money to buy gifts for the people in the border areas was voluntarily donated by officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard. The gifts handed directly to the people by officers and soldiers of the Border Guard have contributed to making Tet a happy time for everyone, every family./.

Do Luong district leaders give gifts to poor households

In Hong Son commune, the delegation presented 20 gifts, each worth 500 thousand VND, to poor families in Hong Son commune by comrade Le Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, hoping that people would have a warm and happy New Year. The Central Red Cross Society presented 22 gifts to poor and disabled households in Hong Son commune.
On this occasion, district leaders visited and presented gifts to relatives of martyrs in Hong Son commune and presented Tet gifts to 100-year-old Vietnamese Heroic Mother Cao Thi Dot.

Quy Chau leaders give Tet gifts to the poor

Tan Ky leaders give Tet gifts to policy families

2,674 poor households and policy families in 11 communes were given 2,674 gifts from supporting agencies, units and businesses. Each gift is worth 500 thousand VND. This is the second year Quy Hop strives for 100% of poor households to receive a Tet gift.
On this occasion, comrade Ho Le Ngoc also presented two Tet gifts from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to two prestigious village elders, Mr. Vi Van Thuc in Dong Tien hamlet, Chau Cuong commune and Mr. Luong Van Tham in Dong Xuong hamlet, Dong Hop commune.

On the morning of January 23, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans in coordination with the Executive Committee of Nghia Dan District Youth Union organized a donation of a breeding cow to Mr. Vo Van Tinh, Youth Union Branch 2A, Nghia An Commune. The cow is worth 19 million VND, of which the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghia Dan District supported 7 million VND. The donation of the breeding cow will help Mr. Vo Van Tinh's family have more conditions to develop production, as well as participate more actively in the movements of the Youth Union.

Although the gifts from the Company this time are not much, they contribute to bringing warmer Tet holidays to disabled and orphaned children on the occasion of Tet and Spring.
