(Baonghean.vn) - Nguyen Van Mao (Mao Meo), a talented young man from Block 1, Tan Ky Town, who was once invited to a meeting with the President of Vietnam to discuss his entrepreneurial achievements, has been playing the flute for free to entertain people during the Lunar New Year celebrations.

Springtime melodies, praising the homeland, were played with passion and vibrancy by the young man from Tan Ky, filling a corner of Lat town with their melodies. Many locals, especially young people, who enjoyed the free flute performance, were deeply impressed by Nguyen Van Mao's actions. The songs Mao played warmed the hearts of the villagers, who still faced many worries and burdens in life.

Mao is known to be passionate about the flute. Recently, he organized the largest flute-playing festival in Vietnam, with the participation of about 200 people. Mao also owns the largest flute in Vietnam.

In 2016, Nguyen Van Mao was one of the delegates representing entrepreneurs under the age of 30 nationwide, invited by President Tran Dai Quang to a meeting at the Presidential Palace to discuss his entrepreneurial achievements and the success in preserving and developing the Vietnamese bamboo flute art form.
