(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of February 12 at Vinh Stadium, due to a mistake by referee Nguyen Trung Kien, Quang Nam came from behind to defeat Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) 4-2 despite the Nghe team leading by two goals.

In this match, SLNA had an extremely impressive first half. The two goals by Henry Shackiel (minute 19) and The Cuong (minute 37) were the clearest proof of the impressive performance of coach Nguyen Duc Thang's students. One of them came from a header, the other from a timely kick by midfielder The Cuong.

Entering the second half, while still holding a 2-goal lead and being somewhat subjective, consecutive mistakes in the beginning of the second half by the Vinh home team helped Quang Nam quickly find two equalizers by Claudecir (minute 51) and Dai Duong (minute 53).

The highlight of the match came in the 72nd minute, from a corner kick from the right wing by his teammate, Tiago (Quang Nam) rushed into the dispute and made a blatant foul on goalkeeper Nguyen Manh in the 5m50 area. SLNA players stopped and waited for referee Nguyen Trung Kien to blow the whistle. However, Mr. Kien B did not consider it a foul and recognized the away team's goal.

Immediately after that, taking advantage of the fact that SLNA players were not defending, Claudecir controlled the ball and then fired a shot from the near corner past Nguyen Manh, raising the score to 3-2 for Quang Nam, despite fierce reactions from the home team players.

The third unfair loss made SLNA players lose their spirit, creating conditions for Thanh Hung to score the winning goal 4-2 for Quang Nam in the 76th minute. The Nghe An team had to accept the bitter defeat right at Vinh Stadium in the 5th round and stuck in 9th place with 5 points.

After the match, coach Nguyen Duc Thang expressed his dissatisfaction with the referee team. He said: “I know that when the match ends, the result cannot be changed. However, referee Nguyen Trung Kien was not fair in his decision to recognize Quang Nam's goal because it was clear that the away team player had fouled Nguyen Manh in the penalty area before scoring.

SLNA Club will react, not because of the match result but because of clean football, requiring fairness from the "kings of the field". Coach Nguyen Duc Thang also admitted that SLNA's defense played somewhat unfocused in the first minutes of the second half./.
