Perhaps due to the tradition of including chickens in the feast, the number of people hiring people to prepare chickens for ancestral worship this year has increased sharply, meaning that those in the service industry have earned more income.

In Vinh City, the price is 30,000 VND per chicken; some even charge 40,000 VND per chicken, but many establishments refuse to take orders from the afternoon of the 29th of Tet due to high demand.
